Minutes of the Forward Endcap EMC Meeting, 26th of January 2026, 14:00 - 14:50

• Submodules: One Insert in one submodule was accidently mounted in wrong orientation and had to be pulled and rotated by 90 degrees
• There are some submodules with electrical problems that cannot be fixed in Bonn and need to go back to Bochum for repair
• Bonn colleagues asked for extension cables to fix broken temperature sensors (probably available in BO), Claudius mentioned that in case of submodules not yet glued (inserts to alveole) the inserts can be pulled altogether in order to allow for temperature sensor exchange.
• Repositioning of the very inner 8-crystal-VPTT-submodules for the Bonn setup: Those will go to the center of the 'plug', leaving the remaining already mounted VPTT-submodules in current (PANDA-like) position. (All remaining submodules are read out by APDs.)
• The cooling equipment currently sitting in Bochum has to go to Bonn asap as the occupied space is needed by other EP1 groups
• There is test station equipment missing, i.e. the light blue (BaBar) light fibre bundles for the test stands. We need to figure out what is located where. (In BO we have the test station boxes (of the former BO and Juelich test stands) but cannot find the light fibres.)
