Minutes of the Forward Endcap EMC Meeting, 31st of March 2025, 14:30 - 14:50

  • Temperature sensors: Celine showed plots of the measured resistances of the temperature sensors (with and w/o conversion into temperatures):
At room temperature the resistances look okay, as do the temperatures calculated using a THMP and its calibration (~1 degree C offset)
The sensores itselfs do obviously not show any prblems (at least at +20 degrees C)
  • Mass production of the remaining HV boards started in Bonn. Rate about 25/week, 200 still needed in total
  • Testing of the submodules already mounted in Juelich still ongoing in the FTE hall
  • Mounting of further submosules only after all tests are finished
  • Tom will bring new submodules to Bonn as they will run out of modules next week
