Minutes of the Forward Endcap EMC Meeting, 2nd of September 2024, 14:00 - 14:30

• Maintenance of chiller unit will be ordered by Bochum group. In order to meet EU safety requirements one should agree to a yearly maintenance contract (Bonn group).
• We need to catalogue the location of submodules (Bonn/Bochum)
• The Forward Endcap has been opened and checked for transport damage. There is obviously no such thing. Christian is going to check the position of submodules already mounted in order to compare to measurements taken in Juelich last year.
• Manufacturing of signal cables for Forward Endcap completion done by 50%
• Started production of remaining HV regulation boards
• The pneumatic manipulator arm needs to be lifted by about 30 cm in the FTD hall. In this position it seems possible to mount all submodules without the need for changing the lift height (need to fully check...)
• The backplate plug taking the innermost submodules needs to be refabricated (small damage). In the meantime the current one can be used to test mounting etc.
• Are there a light pulser and a THMP unit available for test stands at FTD/Bonn? (yes)
• Bonn colleagues would like to get all calibration constants for the THMP units (Jan, Fabian)
• In order to procced with the planning of chiller piping in the ELSA hall we will meet in Bonn (Claudius and Tom will go there. maybe also Christopher to clarify test stand issues), need to find a date (Celina will send a poll...)
