Minutes of the Forward Endcap EMC SADC Crate Design Vibe/eZuce meeting, 6th of April 2020, 14:00-14:45

SADC Cooling Crate:

• For the first crate tests we need 6 cooling envelopes of the latest shape - we currently have only 3 (the remaining ones do not match the final SADC version)
• Drawings for the cooling envelopes available, Malte will pass it to the workshop
• In order to fully test the 6-SADC crate +/- 12 V/12 A are needed

APD Submodule Preparation Work:

• Michael Kalthoff (electronics workshop Bochum) took preamps PCBs and cables home in order to cable the remaining preamps
• We are running short of signal cables, Christoph will prepare 50 more in the electronics workshop in Bonn and send it to Tom
• Christoph will look for a possibility to exchange submodules with Tom in Bochum

Data Concentrators:

• Power supplies, data base available
• Sent PCB files to production, waiting for offer
• PCB layout special, material expensive, production costs may be high
• Maybe first test version in conventional FR-4 PCB material?
