Minutes of the Forward Endcap EMC SADC Crate Design Vibe/eZuce meeting, 10th of February 2020, 14:00-15:00

FWEC Cabling:

• Vinee presented the work done on the FWEC backplane with cabling mock ups she and Christoph did
• As the lengths of cable bundles differ in ome position substantially from what Claudius estimated based on CAD drawings the decision was made to come to Bochum again in order to also route the remaining cable types of yet missing positions
• As the numbers derived by Vinne and Christoph are the most realistic ones - real cables on the real detector routed to the real SADC (mock up) crate positions - we should rely on themn rather than averaging differently estimated cable length figures

SADC Crate Stuff:

• Pawel designed new power supply modules for the SADC crates. He is waiting for the corresponding PCBs to be sent by the manufacturer in China.
• Dimensions of the power supply will be about 50 x 50 x 15 mm^3 according to a cooling flange depth of about 60 mm
• As fitting and cooling tests with the SADC crate prototype only makes sense with the proper power supplies the delivery of parts from Uppsala is on hold until the new power supplies are available
