Minutes of the forward endcap EMC eZuce SRN meeting, 19th of November 2018, 14:00-14:20

VPTT Submodule Production:

• We decided to build as much submodule handles as needed for all the VPTT submodules (54 pieces in total)
• Raw material (stainless steel bars) for the handle back plates is still available in Bochum, will be brought to Bonn where all additional handles will be made

APD Submodule Production:

• For the preparation of APD submodule production we urgently need the correct cable lengths to prepare the APD preamps
• Malte and Tom will go to Bonn on Wednesday and determine the cable length together with Christoph and Sonja
• Availablility of more preamp PCBs needs to be checked with Bernd Krusche, Basel

SADC crates:

• Work on power supply backplane for crates ongoing
• Remark from Pawel: the preamp input JFETs are available in old stocks only, no new production anymore. We should buy a reasonable stock of spares now.

APD screening:

• Markus confirmed the arrival of APDs from Bochum
• Irradiation is foreseen for this week
• Pick-up of APDs currently stored at PSL/GSI will be at the beginning of December
