Minutes of the forward endcap EMC eZuce SRN meeting, 27th of August 2018, 14:00-14:20

Presence:

VPTT Submodule Production:

• Bochum is missing an ok to replace broken VPTT. Crystal is sitting ready to be glued and holds production.
• Christoph will check the magnetic field measurements and will specify VPTTs to be used instead. (Deadline: This evening/early tomorrow morning).
• In the future he will provide a full list, such that Bochum can choose a replacement directly.
• Five submodules will be sent tomorrow monring to Bonn, one will be shipped back.
• Module 2-x4y2 #4 was transported already by Tom to Bonn.

SADC / Concentrator Status:

• All SADCs are produced. Some are still to be tested.Very few boards with problems, repairs to be done. The fibre connectors of all boards will also be tested.
• The data concentrator design is finished. The PCB design is submitted and Pawel is awaiting an offer.
• No news on crate backplane due to vacation time.

• One module was measured in 3 positions: Results ok.
• Another module was measured several times in all positions. Still checking differences in data.
• Results of the cosmics tests of the submodules will be shown at the next meeting.
• After meeting question: Will the cosmics results be put into the endcap production database? Is this already done?
