SADC Crates:

• Myroslav presented the most recent idea of placing the power supplys: The idea is to use two supplies both close to the cooling side flanges of each side of the crates
• This gurantees sufficient cooling and prevents from the need of massive copper bars for power distribution
• The available space should be sufficient - even though the detailed power supply design is not yet finished the most space consuming parts (the air coils) should fit to available space
• The new placement, however, calls for a modified cooling design

DAQ Test Run in Poland:

• Myroslav reported about the test run: A 90 crystal EMC prototype was read out in conjunction with a straw tube tracker prototype
• Test runs wer done with light pulser injection as well as cosmics
• Commom readout of correlated straw tubes and emc data
• The straw tube device is currently optimized, a second beamtime will be done in some weeks

Annealing LED irradiation:

• The annealing LED type designated for the use in the APD submodules (different from the type used in the vptt submodules - smalles size!) has passed the test irradiation at Stahlenzentrum Giessen with a total dose of 100 Gy without any hint of deterioration
