Minutes of the forward endcap EMC eZuce SRN meeting, 31th of July 2017, 14:00-14:30

Preamplifier

• Malte presented gain measurements of 15 preamplifiers for each of the three different preamplifier groups: Red label (except 2 preamps) and Blue label are ok and consistent. White label show large variations with mostly larger gain than expected. The deviations were confirmed by re-measurements with 270pF charge injection instead of 100pF.
• Werner suggested to measure with a standard setup of 1pF charge injection. This was not done, because errors due to capacities of the cables are to be avoided.
• Malte will send a list of the serial numbers to Werner and Nathalie. They will cross check with the measurements done at Basel.
• Werner will ask Nathalie to provide the data from the validation measurements of the preamps at Basel.
