Toast status; required numbers for DAQ; Panda meeting

- Status of Toast development. 
Most part of the VHDL code was already written by
Gianni, and the project is ready for try a synthesis run.
The simulation file of hits for strip part (fe chip with 128 channels!!) obtained from Tobias was used for the simulation of the digital parts of ToAST.
Events are not present for some chips in the simulation file
(see Gianni's slides)and  most hits are on more than 1 strip.  . The rate of the simulation file is limited to less than 5 kHz. 
Gianni needs now a new file with the max. expected rate of 40 KHz to test complitely digital funcionalities of ToAST.

- Information for the DAQ. A very pressing request continuously arrives from the management, therefore Daniela will answer with some numbers taken from TDR (preliminary revisited)
An estimation was performed by Hans of pile up with respect
to the TOT range, and of the noise ratio vs the peaking time
(see slides).


Due to an unforeseen staff meeting in Torino, the next phone meeting  for the MVD will be held on Wednesday 23 at 1500.
