MVD Evo of May 2

Gianni with connection problems was contacted later by Daniela.

1 - Status of the ToAST development.
Gianni has developed the first version of the digital code for ToAST.
He starts the simulation using the files produced by Tobias.
Soon he will need new files with the maximum rate per strip
as reported in the ToAST specifications (40 KHz)

2 - Information for the daq
We are required to give numbers for readout channels, average occupancy,
and average data size/hit (from Flemming and from Belias, soon!)

Daniela indicated numbers in the file mvd_x_daq, to be discussed.
The discussion was about the readout numbers, and the occupancy. 
In the TDR there are each FE for strips include 128 ch, ToAST will have 64 ch.
The average data size/hit in the strip case was indicated later by Gianni.
It is 32.

The new table is in the file mvd_x_daq_AfterEVO.

The readout architecture for both pixel and strips was already presented in the 
slides of the plenary talk by Daniela (Panda meeting in March).
Here each box includes the number of elements (cirucits, cards, 
or whatever it is indicated). 

Hans will attend the FEE workshop at the end of May.
The numbers will be finalized within two weeks.
Tobias presents the MVD information in the PID workshop
