The members of the author list are physicists, engineers, or Ph.D. students. A person becomes a member of the author list six months after joining the DIRC group as an active member and, after they leave the DIRC group, remains a member for half the time they were an active member, up to a maximum of three years. A person is considered an active member of the DIRC group after contributing at least 0.5 FTE years of work on the DIRC system and continue to commit at least 25% of their time to DIRC FTE work. Technicians or (non-Ph.D.) students can become members of the DIRC group after one year of work for the DIRC group. If a person has delivered a significant contribution to a specific DIRC topic they may be added to the author list for a publication on this specific topic. Ex officio active members of the DIRC group are the technical coordinators and the principal investigators of any group contributing at least 1 FTE per year to the DIRC system. The list of DIRC group members will be updated prior to the second and fourth PANDA Collaboration meeting each year. The list may also be updated by special request from one of the subsystem managers.
